Hi, I'm Shirley,
and I'm pleased you've stopped by for a visit...

I consider myself very fortunate  to live in beautiful Sedro-Woolley, Washington, nestled  in the foothills of Mt. Baker.  For 45 years now, I have been happily married to Kirby Bertholf, and have raised four wonderful children, three daughters and a son.  Our ten grandkids and their parents are literally scattered around the country:  in Idaho, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California.

I am a Financial Services Provider with a unique approach.  Unlike the typical financial planner looking for the best rate of return to accelerate the growth of your accumulated assets, I focus on "plugging the holes" in your financial "bucket", where you may be losing money, mostly in interest paid and lost opportunity costs, often without your knowledge or consent.   Believe it or not, we've found that  people can gain a lot more traction when they learn how to avoid the losses than when they just keep trying to pick the winners.

I haven't always worked in financial services.  My husband and I spent 35 years in the pastoral ministry, where we had the joy of seeing people's lives changed by the love of God.  Throughout my adult life, I've also had the privilege of singing and speaking  at conferences and retreats throughout the US, Canada and several countries of the world.

More recently, however, after our retirement, I was introduced to the Infinite Banking Concept (also known as the Private Reserve Strategy) and knew immediately this was something worth investigating.  I realized that, not only would this  dramatically impact my own life,  but it has the potential to change the lives of all those open to learning these concepts.

If what you've always believed to be true turned out not to be true, when would you want to know it?

I love showing these little known strategies, teaching people how money really works, helping them  learn financial tools they can use to their advantage throughout their lives.

It's gratifying when I see the "light bulb" turn on in their minds as they begin to realize that what they've always thought to be true about money and how it works, may not actually be true after all.

My clients learn that that control of their capital is key to  building wealth.  Maintaining control allows them to use their Private Reserve as collateral for funding life's major purchases, enabling them to take full advantage of the power of compounding interest over the rest of their lifetime, while eliminating many of the transfers that have been previously draining their resources.

So, there you have it...a peak into the reasons I get really excited about making sure everyone has the chance to learn about the Private Reserve Strategy

It's like having a wonderful secret that's just too good to keep to myself, so I'm glad you've decided to check out our website.  Hopefully, I've peeked your curiosity.
Contact me to see if this might be the right strategy for you.
